I just watched Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi last night. It's one of those ShahrukhKhan Movies that makes you laugh sooo much but manages to make you cry at the same time. I liked the movie. It was such a sweet thing for him to do what he did. (watch the movie to find out or give me a ring, i'll tell you the entire synopsis lol)
Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi directly translates to God Made Couple. At some point, i realise i'm a hopeless romantic (especially after watching Hindi Movies). So in this movie, there was a part where the guy says, Just because he loves her and it's not returned, it shouldn't be a reason why he should stop loving her. Love is in this movie is defined as seeing God in one another. Yes, rather cheesy and unrealistic but i kinda believe in that now.
Very hard to explain though, this topic is a very subjective one but yes, When you love someone, you accept them for who they are, you love them for who they are, you treat them how you want to be treated. You tend to see the other as perfect despite all his imperfections. You argue and complain about how everything is wrong but when everything's quiet, it's empty. There's something missing there. You'll never appreciate what you have till it's gone. I'm learning that the hard way now. Oh well,
lesson learnt.
