Recap on my weekend!

On saturday, we celebrated my dad's 53rd birthday by having Sri Lankan seafood gumbo (mom made). For those who are not gumbo lovers like myself, mum, as usual, prepared her ever famous mutton! (HOWEVER,halfway through cooking, my uncle arrived and 'tampered' with her mutton so it wasn't it's spicy self)


Why Sri Lankan Gumbo you may ask?

y dad's a HUGEEEEEEE FAN of it. However, only ikan Kurau should be used or Red Snapper. He's picky with his food too you know although he's my official 'DBKL'. So yes, mum made that. and the usual crowd came over. All my mother's brother, Uncle Balan, even Marcus was here. ahhaha. that lil fella kept picking fight with all my other cousin sisters -____-''
Anton and Shalini joined us too =) Oh, Jashreen stopped by too for abit. Had lunch than Shasha picked her up.

Mom made chocolate cake for my dad. honestly, She and I thought it turned out like rock, but after i cut it, it was so spongy and moist! SEDAP SEDAP SEDAP :) There's still a few more pieces left at home.



Now, Sunday, which is today, my Aunty Rany came down from the states. she brought back sour sweets for me! HAHAHA. from, sour wormz, sour candy( DAMN BLOODY SOUR I TELL YOU), and sour watermelon chewies, sour this sour that. AWESOME. sedap betul. :) She got me a top too. very niceee and she got me watermelon lip balm haha.

Than, in the afternoon, my mom, my aunty and i went to midvalley for the global indian fair. It was the last day, so everything was like at half price(still have to bargain)

I got two sets of material for punjabi suits, i bought so much bhindi for some reason than i bought body art -___-'' it was damn cheap OKAAY. so so yea. i can always improvise with it :p;P;P;p I would post a picture of them, but.. i'm lazy.

thannn.. i bought myself jellebe from Jesals' which have the best jellebes ever. EVER.

so yes. very productive day. haha.
